Weather Delay Guidelines for PLWGA Play Days

What is FTF?

• Thursdays are our PLWGA Play Days at Prescott Lakes. Shotgun times vary by the season. 
• Signing up for a play-day is automatic.  Approximately two weeks before a play-day, all members of the PLWGA will receive an invitation from the pro shop with information about the  play-day and asking  if they plan to play. Simple respond yes or no to the invitation.   Two days before the event, you will get a reminder of your confirmation and your tee assignment. If you need to cancel, call the pro shop.
• Game of the Day is for those Regular members who want to play in the 18-hole game format selected by the Game Chair. Players may select their tee box (Jackrabbit, Quail, or Roadrunner).  This requires a $5 buy-in, which is member-charged. Rounds are postable rounds played under the general Rules of Golf and ESC, except as not allowed by format (such as scrambles).
• Pairings will be emailed from the Golf Shop staff to participants on the day before the event. 
• One scorecard for each group must be turned in to the pro shop after play on Thursdays, and one member in each group must enter the scores into Golf Genius. The card must match the Golf Genius scores hole-by-hole.  The card must be attested by two players in the group.  Results may be accessed from the HOME PAGE. Winnings are distributed as pro shop credit.
• Sign Ups​ close at noon on the Tuesday before Thursday Play Day. Please be considerate - last minute changes cause a hardship to the Golf Shop staff, your Game Chair and the other players.
• If you are signing up or need to cancel after Tuesday,  please contact the Golf Shop (928/443-3501) and text the Game Chair.

Most Improved Golfer

​We recognize the most improved golfer for each of the quarters and for the year. 

To be eligible for the quarterly award, Regular members must post a minimum of 25% of the available Play Day rounds for the period. Additionally, to be eligible for the most improved golfer of the year award, players must play in 50% of the PLWGA major tournaments.
